Details
A fitting accompaniment and ornament for every Christmas gift. The nativity scene is a very common motif on Springerle molds. This image shows a scene in which Mary holds Jesus in her arms, Joseph folds his hands in prayer, and a shepherd kneels to offer a gift.
Historically, it is no coincidence that Jesus was born among shepherds in the stable. Does Jesus not say himself in the Gospel of John 10:11-14, "I am the good shepherd."
